THE IMPACT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ON INDUSTRY DISRUPTION
This study aims to: (1) investigate the impact of digital transformation on industry disruption, (2) identify key digital tools that drive industry change, and (3) evaluate the benefits and challenges of digital disruption. A survey design was employed to gather data from industry leaders and professionals. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 380 participants from various industries in Lagos was determined, ensuring comprehensive insights. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.87. Findings indicate that digital transformation significantly drives industry disruption by providing innovative, efficient, and scalable business models. Recommendations include investing in emerging digital technologies, fostering a culture of innovation, and continuously monitoring industry trends to anticipate and respond to digital disruption.
